Voting by Absentee Ballots
Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request an Absentee Ballot. A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, and who has resided in the Town of Fort Winnebago at least 28 days before the election. The elector must be a registered voter in the Town of Fort Winnebago, or in the case of Absentee Military Voters, eligible to vote in the State of Wisconsin, to receive an absentee ballot.
To obtain an absentee ballot, you can visit the myvote.wi.gov and request it online or must make a request in writing or appear in person with the Town Clerk.
For In-Person (Early) Voting, please contact the Town Clerk to setup an appointment during the In-Person Voting period (two weeks prior to the election). In-Person Voting is done at the Town Clerks home, not at the Polling Place.
